Over the last few years, PC gamers have enjoyed something of a retro-shooter renaissance. Lovely lo-fi shooters inspired by classics that shaped the genre are appearing on platforms like Steam at an alarming rate, allowing players raised on sprawling level designs and gory shootouts to experience a new take on beloved formulas. And now, Ion Fury, the old-school first person shooter from developer Voidpoint and publishers 3D Realms and 1C Entertainment, is bringing the acclaimed game to console audiences.

Nintendo Life’s Ryan Craddock reports that Ion Fury makes its console debut May 14. The retro-inspired shooter brings its lightning-fast action to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Collector’s keen on bringing a boxed copy home to play on the console of their choice will also be able to grab a physical edition on June 26.
