Indie developer Bon has revealed their newest game, BUZZ or DIE, the violent sci-fi visual novel with a dark game show twist and Anime News Network has the announcement and trailer!
The rules are simple. Dive into your opponent’s mindscape and search for secrets. Turn those secrets into content and make a short video. Gain the most Likes from the audience to win. In the game, players take the role of a prisoner playing in a game show with the goal of creating a video that exposes another prisoner’s dark past. The winner earns freedom while the loser gets executed.
BUZZ or DIE is a point and click visual novel where death row inmates get to compete for a chance at freedom by taking another prisoner’s past and using it against them to create content and get clicks. So, any social media expertise may come in handy in playing this game and seeing things through to the conclusion. Succeed, and receive a pardon as well as the chance to have one wish granted. Fail and not only will death follow, but so will an eternity of being used as an android slave.
