Eurogamer shared the news that Soundfall, the recently-revealed rhythm action title from the Epic Games veterans at Drastic Games, is coming to Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC in 2019. Matt Wales finds himself “intrigued” by the music-driven dungeon crawler’s announcement.

Those aforementioned dungeon-crawling and twin-stick shooting elements are present and correct, as are a variety of classic navigational challenges, plus some provocatively throbbing cacti. Drastic Games also notes that Soundfall’s world is procedurally-generated to music, although it’s not entirely clear to what extend this impacts each play-through.

Anyway, that’s enough for me to tick the ‘sufficiently intrigued’ box, and there’s plenty of time for Drastic to reveal more prior to Soundfall’s Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Switch release in 2019.
