Farever gets its first major Early Access content drop on July 15, and Shiro Games is not easing into it. The Nightling Invasion brings a new mountain city, demonic portals that tear open mid-game, two new dungeons, 15-plus player world events, and a new progression currency, all in one update. The Nightling Invasion is the follow-up the studio has been building since EA launched, and it hits Steam at $19.99 for anyone who hasn’t jumped in yet.
The central new mechanic is Rifts: demonic portals that open across the map and grant access to Niflel, the realm of the Nightlings. They are not passive background dressing. The Rifts are tied to the world event system, meaning 15-plus players can be involved simultaneously in pushing back the invasion across the same world. Alongside the Rifts, the update introduces Ramburg, a new mountain city divided into the Lower City, the Cathedral, and the High Inquisitor Chakram district. Two new dungeons sit within this region, giving solo and group players dedicated challenge content separate from the open-world event layer.
Farever is available now in Early Access on PC via Steam for $19.99 with a special promotion discount of 20% off until July 29, including language support for English, French, German, Spanish, Polish, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese language support.
