PLAYISM, the oldest indie publisher in Japan, held another of its game showcases this year. The PLAYISM Game Show aired with 10 brand new games set for release in 2026 and 2027 and Siliconera has the information on it.

Playism held its usual indie game show presentation of Japanese doujin games it plans to release worldwide, and there are 10 titles on the way throughout 2026 and 2027. In addition, it confirmed an update for one past release.Rose & Camellia Collection, the compilation of Nigoro fighting games where you slap opponents, will get online multiplayer in June 2026.

Japan’s indie scene is flourishing just as much as any other and the work PLAYSIM has put forth over the years is proof of that. This batch of 10 games looks to be some of the best yet and spans a variety of genres.

  • DevilConnection (Switch) – 2026 adventure game.
  • The Dream of a Cockspur (PC) – Q3 2026 point-and-click horror adventure.
  • Dungeon Sweeper Plus (PC) – 2026 puzzle game.
  • Idol Manager: Virtual Venture (PC) – 2027 management simulation.
  • Iron Bramble (PC) – 2027 Metroidvania game.
  • Midnight Train: New Moon (PC) – 2027 horror game.
  • No Case Should Remain Unsolved (PS5) – 2026 adventure game.
  • A Passing in the Night (PC) – 2026 horror game.
  • Samurai Bringer: Rampage (PC) – 2026 roguelite action game.
  • There’s Something Wrong with the Hero’s Choices (PC) – 2026 adventure game.

Almost all of the games in the presentation are exclusive to PC via Steam with the exception of DevilConnection (Switch 2) and No Case Should Remain Unsolved (PS5). No matter what genre sticks out, there should be something there for everyone over the next year.

The new Playism games are split between 2026 and 2027 releases, with seven coming this year and three showing up the next. However, there are no exact release windows for most of them, so we can’t pin down when we’ll see them.

The legendary publisher is showing no signs of slowing down and these games seem to be more feathers in their cap.
