PlayStation LifeStyle’s Will Harrison informed the public of a cool way to support Covid-19 relief during this unprecedented historical moment. #GamersVSCovid,  a charity streamathon in support of Direct Relief’s Covid-19 Fund for Community Health and hosted by esports platform ScrimToWin, brought streamers and celebrities like Michelle Phan and former NBA star Nate Robinson together for a great cause:

. . .the charity streamathon will be host to multiple free-to-enter charity Fortnite tournaments hosted by Team SoloMid members ZexRow and Reverse2k. The special guests don’t stop there, as YouTube streamer Michelle Phan along with former NBA star and NBA Jam aficionado Nate Robinson will attend, among other streamers of note. . . . it’s for a good cause and you can potentially get some high-tier gear out of the deal for free so be sure to tune in and give generously.

Through the combined efforts of streamers, competitors, and viewers, #GamersVSCovid has raised over $35,000 in support of Direct Relief. As the global pandemic continues unabated, fundraising efforts like #GamersVSCovid encourage crucial generosity and unite us against an unprecedented foe.

Donations to the cause can still be made via #GamersVSCovid’s Streamlabs page. For more information on ScrimToWin, check out the official website to start hosting scrims for prizes and follow the community on Twitter.
