GoNintendo opens the books to the monstrous world of Demonschool in the latest trailer for the school-life tactics RPG with hints of Persona, Shin Megami Tensei, and Italian horror cinema from developer Necrosoft Games and publisher Ysbryd Games, launching Wednesday, November 19.
Join college freshman Faye, descended from a demon-hunting family lineage, as she discovers creatures she’d only seen in ancient tomes, now haunting an enigmatic island university. Survive a semester like no other by making friends, forging relationships, and battling gruesome monsters inspired by ‘60s and ‘70s Italian horror cinema and Japanese horror manga on a chess-like board where movement equals action.
“After a few delays, we have finally shaped Demonschool into the game we set out to create,” said Brandon Sheffield, creative director of Necrosoft Games. “We’d like to thank our audience for supporting us through the development process and can’t wait for them to fish out every little detail the island has to offer.”
Demonschool begins orientation on PlayStation 5|4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, and Windows PC via Steam and Epic Games Store in Q3 2025 with English, French, Spanish, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese language support.
