Hey Poor Player recently had the chance to review Perfect Tides: Station to Station, the narrative point-and-click sequel to Three Bees’ acclaimed Perfect Tides, out now on  PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch.

Reviewed by Andrew Thornton, the game received a near-perfect score, saying, “Mara’s story is so relatable, and the ending hits so well that anyone open to games of this nature should absolutely check it out.”

Originally debuted on PC via Steam on Jan. 22 and Nintendo Switch on May 14, Perfect Tides: Station to Station chronicles the tribulations of Mara Whitefish, evoking the style of classic point-and-click adventure titles from the 1990s. Station to Station does a great job capturing Mara’s prickly introspection associated with early adulthood. “She has an unprecedented level of freedom in her life,” writes Thornton, “but she isn’t really sure what to do with it or who deserves to have a say in how she lives.”
