Game Informer’s Joey Thurmond shared the release date announcement for Super Daryl Deluxe, the RPGvania with a brawler-style combat system and hand-drawn comic aesthetic from Dan & Gary Games, coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC April 10, 2018.
Joey went on to explain the combat system in Super Daryl Deluxe, drawing a comparison between it and another popular indie title.
In the same vein as Supergiant Games’ Transistor, you can’t equip all of your abilities at once, but can have up to five of your choosing. This means you need to see what types of combinations of moves and combos work best.
Joey also notes that “there’s plenty to keep you busy in this unpredictable, sprawling adventure.”
