Lanesplit, the traffic-weaving motorcycle racing simulator developed by solo developer FunkyMouse has received a VR update that adds a whole new perspective to the popular first-person racing game and UploadVR has the latest news!

Lanesplit is a fast-paced first-person racing experience where the goal is to weave in and out of traffic and stay on the bike. Ride fast, ride hard and ride accurately. Points multiply the longer the ride goes without losing speed or crashing. Split the lane skillfully and watch the position on the leaderboard rise. Fail and crash on more than just the road. Team up with friends to take on the challenge of finding a flow with each other.

Lanesplit, a high speed urban motorcycle street racer, dropped its update for VR supported gameplay as part of today’s VR Games Showcase. We previously reported this was coming today in our UploadVR Summer Showcase earlier this month.

Lanesplit supports solo or multiplayer gameplay, a dynamic weather system that demands careful bike selection depending on the terrain, and optional traffic settings to cater to each player’s comfort. Since release, the game has already received two major updates before today’s VR support. A roadmap promises a high-speed police chase mode in Q3 of this year followed by motorcycle tuning options in Q4.

Lanesplit is available now on PC via Steam and on sale until July 9, 2026.
