Alice O’Connor of Rock Paper Shotgun reported on the launch of Planetoid Pioneers, the cooperative sci-fi Physicsvania where geriatric astronauts explore the asteroid belt beyond Mars.
Alice shared her enjoyment of the protagonist’s wacky antics and referred to the gameplay as a “wobbly physics-y build-o-metroidvania.”
It sends a wobbly old man inside circular planetoids, digging, building, destroying, piloting vehicles, and generally dying terribly. From what I’ve heard, it’s a bit of a lark.
