PCMag’s Matthew Humphries shared the March 30 release date of Death Stranding: Director’s Cut, the definitive version of the genre-defying action game from 505 Games directed by renowned game director Hideo Kojima and starring Norman Reedus. Death Stranding: Director’s Cut launches for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Set out in an unsettling post-cataclysmic world as Sam Bridges, a brave deliveryman tasked with rebuilding wireless communications across the United States while delivering supplies. Experience the ultimate version of Death Stranding with quality of life and performance improvements, an expanded story with new questlines, new ways to engage in combat, and more.
The other piece of information we were eager to find out was the pricing, and more specifically the cost of upgrading from the base game. You’ll be happy to hear the upgrade costs $10, which is how much it cost on PS5.
The Director’s Cut content is certainly worth $10. As well as updated 4K graphics, there’s adjustments to guides and hints, new weapons, new equipment, new facilities and missions, and support skeletons to enjoy. Add to that support for high frame rates, a photo mode, and ultrawide monitors.
