Anime News Network’s Alex Mateo clashes against the supernatural in Fantasy Maiden Wars – DREAM OF THE STRAY DREAMER –, the bullet hell tactical RPG based in the Touhou universe developed by Sanbondo and published by Phoenixx Inc., coming to PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2025.
Players can form squads with over 70 characters. There are also Spell Cards that provide different abilities.
Developer Sanbando released the Gensō Shōjo Taisen bullet hell and simulation RPG (inspired by Super Robot Wars) in four parts for PC in 2010, 2012, 2014, and 2017. A complete edition featuring all four works released in August 2019.
