Game Developer covers the reveal of Inner Pocket, a new label co-founded by industry veterans from CRITICAL REFLEX, Gaijin Entertainment, and indie studio Nozomu Games.
Central to Inner Pocket’s vision is delivering a curated library of titles that provide intimate and engaging experiences. Through their services, Inner Pocket will champion games that are engaging, immersive, and driven forward by compelling stories that reward both introspection and discussion.
We’re choosing a pretty specific niche from the start, and we’re going to be very picky about the games we publish, said Inner Pocket co-founder, Yaroslav Kadyshen.
At the same time, there are already great titles out there that capture exactly the kind of feeling we’re after. We want to help grow this space in two ways: as a publisher, by supporting developers making curiosity games and helping more of them get made; and as a curator, by surfacing the great ones that are already out there. The kind you still think about years later—the games you keep close to your heart.
