Variety’s Brian Crecente did a preview at PAX East 2019 of WORLD OF HORROR, the unsettling cosmic horror retro RPG from Ysbryd Games and Pantasz, and dubbed the game a “frightening 1-bit masterpiece.”

Also praising the title for “taking gaming expos by storm,” Brian was not sparse with compliments for the game:

“What’s most striking initially about the game is its deliberately old-school look. The game is essentially a text adventure illustrated with hundreds of images created by Kozminiski in the often-maligned, simplistic graphics editor Microsoft Paint.”
