GamesHeroes has the news on the latest Public Playtest for Antistatic Studios‘ paranormal co-op FPS, Phantom Line.

Running through March 10, this new Phantom Line Public playtest features new anomalies and game elements, including Mortfield’s training facility for H.U.S.K. Operators.

Up to four players can team up and explore a post-apocalyptic European wasteland in search of various anomalies and disruptions in space-time. Take advantage of Phantom Line‘s in-game H.U.S.K., which lets players strategize and turn the fight in their favor.

Players will be able to venture into space-time and fight new anomalies with the new Public Playtest for Antistatic Studios’ PvE cooperative tactical shooter Phantom Line. This new Public Playtest for Phantom Live also features new animations, a rewritten movement and interaction system, an improved camera, advanced spatial audio, and refreshed biomes and weather.

Playing as a character known as an Operator, the goal is to investigate unknown paranormal events that are normally hidden from the public. Dropped off in an Eastern European area known as the Iron Corridor, the mission becomes more than an investigation as a true political conflict breaks out with the threat of nuclear war. Phantom Line tasks players with navigating conflict from all sides.

Antistatic Studios is hanging its hat on building an atmospheric military horror experience with Phantom Line, and they’ve rebuilt the game for a better experience overall. The Playtest will give gamers the chance to feel the difference for themselves.

Be sure to keep an eye on the Phantom Line  Steam and Epic Games Store pages and wishlist the game. Once it hits Early Access, the mission begins, and players are going to want to be ready.
