Kotaku’s Ethan Gach shared word of a new adventure beckoning to Nintendo Switch owners: Riverbond. This four-player shoot-and-slash dungeon crawler from Cococucumber embarks on a Nintendo Switch quest later this year with a brand-new world also coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Gach remarked on how well Riverbond fits the Switch :
The beautiful blocky destruction game Riverbond is getting ported to Switch later this year. Like so many interesting games that get overshadowed on other platforms, Riverbond’s arcade-y four-player dungeoneering feels perfect for Switch. Plus, it’ll arrive alongside some new DLC world.
Riverbond hearkens back to the fast-paced arcade action of classic dungeon crawlers, challenging players with hordes of foes in a gorgeous, totally destructible voxel-based world. Master melee and ranged attacks to give the party a fighting chance while smashing-and-grabbing through eight whimsical worlds.
