It’s a bird! No, it’s a plane! Double nope—it’s EarthNight, the hand-drawn action platformer set during the dragon apocalypse from developer Cleaversoft! And, as Nintendo Life reports, the much-awaited indie game is headed toward a December 3, 2019 release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC.

Writing for Nintendo Life, Ryan Craddock points that EarthNight garnered attention from Switch-owners during Nintendo’s Nindie Showcase in August, leaving platformer fans clamoring for news of an official release date. From Nintendo Life:

In case you can’t quite remember what it’s all about, let us give you a quick recap. The game is a hand-drawn action-platformer set during a dragon apocalypse – mankind is living in exile on space colonies orbiting the planet. The game’s star duo – a sword-wielding freelance photographer and a young student blessed with ethereal superpowers – take it upon themselves to reclaim their home by skydiving through Earth’s atmosphere and striking back against the monsters below.

EarthNight comes in for a landing on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC on December 3, 2019. For more information about EarthNight, head to the game’s official website and read Nintendo Life’s complete coverage.
