The pen may be mightier than the sword, but what happens if you use both equally? Gamers will find out on Jan. 30, when Bookbound Brigade, the side-scrolling action platformer starring legendary literary and historical characters from developer Digital Tales and publisher Intragames, turns to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Steam for Windows PC, as reported by GameSkinny’s Joshua Bradwell.

Like Codename S.T.E.A.M. before it, Bookbound Brigade lets you control a varied cast of literary and historical notables, ranging from Count Dracula and Queen Victoria to The Wizard of Oz‘s Dorothy Gale and more. Each hero has a unique set of abilities that helps you explore the five vast, hand-drawn worlds against the backdrop of a fully orchestrated soundtrack.
