Game Informer blasted out the console launch trailer for Ion Fury, the old-school first-person shooter developed by Voidpoint and published by 3D Realms and 1C Entertainment now available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Author Daniel Tack says “If retro old-school shooty-insanity is your thing, it might be something to check out!” Game Informer reviewed the PC version of Ion Fury with a 9/10 score, saying:
Ion Fury is everything that I’ve wanted from a modernized take on the arcadey shooters of the 90s. The pitch-perfect movement, the enemy variety, creative weaponry, and fantastic level design all add up to a superb shooter campaign.
