Bloody Disgusting’s Mike Wilson takes a ride through Early Access on April 23 for Railgods of Hysterra, the co-op survival adventure set aboard a train traveling through a Lovecraftian nightmare world from developer Troglobytes and publisher Digital Vortex Entertainment. The Railgods of Hysterra demo is still available with 1.0 planned for later in 2025 via Steam!
Venture forth alone or with up to four friends into a world of waking nightmares, where the Old Gods of H.P. Lovecraft’s Cthulhu Mythos emerged victorious, twisting the earth and its inhabitants into unspeakable horrors.
Board the train and expand it with custom cars for storage, loot, and workbenches. Navigate shifting hellscapes armed with axes, firearms, and spells, battling eldritch horrors and fanatical cultists — or capture them to feed the wheeled monstrosity.
