Engadget’s Anna Washenko encourages troubleshooters to Read The F*cking Manual in a recent article highlighting the bite-sized co-op experimental puzzle game from Dinosaur Polo Club, which is out now on PC and Mac for free on itch.io.
Inspired by teamwork-based titles like Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, as well as sci-fi media such as classic creepypastas, The X-Files, Portal, and Control, RFTM allows a Troubleshooter and Operator to work together (or not) to solve puzzles and stay one step ahead of hostile entities in the machine.
“Dinosaur Polo Club is known for previous games Mini Metro and Mini Motorways. Both are stellar examples of simple, elegant game design, and a small group within the company took this game jam concept from passion project to a fully fledged release.”
RTFM is available now for free on PC and Mac via itch.io. To learn more about the game and studio, visit the official RTFM and Dinosaur Polo Club websites, follow the studio on Bluesky, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, and search for #RTFMgame on social media.
