Game Informer closed out their year with a look at what they referred to as a “cozy, comfy holiday game” inEcho Generation, the turn-based adventure from Cococucumber where a gang of kids investigate strange, supernatural occurrences around their small town. The nostalgia-filled voxel-art RPG, set in a sleepy Canadian town in the summer of 1993 is available now on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows PC and Xbox Game Pass, and Steam for PC.

I completely missed Echo Generation when it landed, but I’m glad I discovered it here as the year wraps up. If you’re in the mood for a snack-size RPG that serves up a hearty helping of cozy vibes, look no further. Cookies!
