Washington Post’s Gene Park put together a list of the most awaited games launching in 2024, and among them is Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, the JRPG from legendary game developers Yoshitaka Murayama (Suikoden I & II) and Junko Kawano (Suikoden I & IV) of Rabbit & Bear Studios and published by 505 Games, coming out on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One and X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, Epic Games, and GOG.

A fantasy game with some 100 characters sounds outlandish, but this wouldn’t even be the first of its kind. Overshadowed by “Final Fantasy VII” during the ’90s, the 100-hero concept will get a second chance at a far more diverse and welcoming global gaming audience.
