PC Gamer shared the new release date for WRATH: Aeon of Ruin, the dark fantasy horror FPS powered by the original Quake engine from publishers 3D Realms and 1C Entertainment and developer KillPixel. Now slated for February 25, 2021, the game, currently on Steam Early Access, will also receive Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One for its 1.0 release.
The site also revealed details of the “Founder’s Edition Big Box,” a limited edition pack containing a CD-ROM copy of the game, soundtrack, art book, a USB drive, figurines, a poster, and some stickers for USD $100.
The Quake-flavored retro shooter WRATH: Aeon of Ruin is really good. It’s fast, loud, and bloody, and manages to feel modern while embracing an awesomely old-school aesthetic.
