The December 2023 Wholesome Snack Showcase matched the spirit of the season as a festival of the more charming and cozy side of gaming, spotlighting indie efforts to look forward to in the coming year. Bleeding Cool’s Gavin Sheehan pointed the spotlight on Go-Go Town, the charming open-world sandbox featuring life-sim gameplay from the AAA veterans of Prideful Sloth, arriving on PlayStation 5|4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam in 2024.
Once a bustling hub of tourists and culture, Go-Go Town! has fallen far from its prime. As soon as you arrive, you will find yourself (involuntarily) volunteering the role of Mayor, where it will be up to you and your friends to save the town and bring life (and tourists!) back to its heart.
