IGN’s Jeremy Smith hides in waiting for Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days, the zombie shelter survival sidescroller by developer and publisher PikPok. A demo is currently available on PC via Steam with a release date of 2025!
What makes Into The Dead unique, though, is that all of the gameplay is presented on a tight 2D plane, bringing a greater sense of intimacy to the action.
The problems presented by Into The Dead are rarely solved with the brute force of headshots. In fact, when everything is going well in this world, nobody will have noticed that you’ve been rummaging around in the first place.
