That VideoGame Blog’s Arthur Damian stepped out of their comfort zone to check out the demo of Perfect Tides: Station to Station, the coming-of-age point n’ click narrative adventure sequel to Meredith Gran’s award-winning title Perfect Tides,  at PAX East 2025:

By conversing with city denizens, you’ll pick up different ideas you can record in your phone. These take the form of people and places and act like items. You can use these people and places as topics of conversation when you talk to NPCs, which helps advance the story. The idea of leveling up Mara through this abstract convention helps Station to Station stand out from its peers.

Though my session was short, I advanced to the second part of the game. I had to use my intuition and detective skills to figure out how to make it to a party where I didn’t know the host’s name. This game really does showcase the awkwardness of being a teenager.
